NEW - The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program!
The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an exciting new program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy training is a natural lead in to the AKC® Canine Good Citizen® Program.
When you complete our basic training class with your puppy (up to 1 year old) your puppy is eligible to be enrolled in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. We will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test at the end of the course. Upon passing the test, you'll get an application to send to AKC® for enrollment in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. All dogs are welcome to participate in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program including purebreds and mixed breeds. Your puppy will receive the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Medal (for display or memento purposes; not suitable as a collar tag). You and your puppy will be listed in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy records. In addition, so that you can continue learning, you’ll receive our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy package from the AKC.
• Puppy Preschool (Pups under 20 weeks - 2 sets of vaccines required)
Give your pup the best start towards becoming a Good Dog! This class teaches you about Socialization, Nutrition, Grooming & Handling and Basic Problem Solving skills for jumping, nipping, chewing, housetraining, etc....
We'll teach your pup how to: Pay Attention - Sit - Down - Stay - Come - Walk Nicely on Leash - Leave It - Potty Outside - Don't Jump, Don't Bite, and Play Nice! 6 weeks: $125
• Good Dog! Obedience Training
Level I: Basic Obedience (for dogs 5 months and up)
Teach your dog manners and build a deeper bond between owner and dog. Training teaches your dog how to listen to you by learning basic commands. Socialization, Handling & Basic Problem Solving skills will make life with your dog easier and more enjoyable. Your dog will learn how to: Pay Attention, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, Leave It, Drop It and more! 6 weeks: $125. 1st class is orientation with no dogs, so that you can get your dog paying attention to you before you bring him to class.
Group Class + Private Tutoring
A popular option that offers you extra one-on-one assistance as you go through one of our group classes. This can be helpful to review a particularly challenging lesson, or to help you catch up if you have missed a week of group class. You can take advantage of a 30 minute session before class with the trainer, in addition to your regularly scheduled group class. Cost: $25 per session + group class cost.
Intermediate / Canine Good Citizen (for Dogs who have completed Basic ob)

Many people take the CGC course as a stepping stone toward doing Therapy Work with their dog. Learn ‘real life skills' and earn the AKC Canine Good Citizen certification. The focus is on training with distractions and obedience without the use of training aides such as food treats or special collars. Go to www.akc.org for more info on CGC requirements. With this course, your dog should go above and beyond the CGC requirements. 6 weeks: $99

Discover your dog's hidden talents- Impress your family & friends! Tricks vary based on enrolled students. 6 weeks: $99
• Training for Life Field trips (for Dogs who have completed Int. ob)
Includes a variety of training topics and field trips! These trips are semi-private lessons.
