Let's talk dog. For the last 25 years, I've continuously studied the latest science, training, care, nutrition, and behavior of the domestic canine. I've been involved with dog training and behavior modification since 1995 and opened Leader of the Pack in 2003, after working with some of the nation's best, learning how to read dogs and use the many 'tools' of the trade.
For the past 18 years, I've evaluated and trained working families and dogs of every shape and size – training good behavior with positive and effective methods. Each dog has it's own way of learning, given its breed, temperament and natural drives. Training is customized to meet the goals and needs of every individual and family. I am a Canine Good Citizen and S.T.A.R. Puppy evaluator for the AKC, a Pro Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, and a volunteer trainer/behavior evaluator for the local shelter.

"Michelle, you are truly "Leader of the Pack" when it comes to training dogs. You have that special gift to understand each individual dog and their needs. I can also say that you help us "humans" to understand our four footed companions as well which enhances the relationship. I truly enjoyed your class that Sophie and I attended this past summer. Your class was fun, encouraging, and most importantly informative. I want to commend you also on how you continue to be available to your students, even after graduation, should we need help. Thank you and I truly recommend your class to dog owners." - K. and "Sophie"
